This mouthpiece came with a Bundy Paris Bb Clarinet produced in the late 1920's early 1930's. It is a Qualite Superieure blank. The mouthpiece dates from the age where the rod rubber was far superior, and the tone beautifully resonant. According to Brad Behn, " it is made in the golden era of mouthpieces and represents many classic Chedeville attributes." I sent it to him for refacing where he lengthened the facing and opened up the tip. It is now about a 36 length and 1.01 tip. I am not sure why I am selling it other than I just got in a whole slew of mouthpieces from the same era which I will try to bring up to snuff. This mouthpiece plays very nicely and evenly throughout all registers. However, according to Brad, it will do best with soft reeds. There are no teethmarks, and the tip and rails are fine.
